The Rothko Chapel is another must-visit, with its stunning collection of abstract paintings by Mark Rothko. The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is also a great option, with its extensive collection of art from around the world.

There are plenty of parks and green spaces to explore or head south, to Galveston, and dip your toes in the ocean. Similarly, several times a year the National Parks Service offers free entry!
