Houston Harvest Festivals and Pumpkin Patches – it’s Fall, Y’all!

Harvest Festivals updated for 2023 fun!

Have you scoped out your favorite Harvest festivals or pumpkin patch yet?! It’s that time of year!

Finding a patch or maze or somewhere to get some adorable orange-inspired photo ops shouldn’t be too hard, but here is a helping hand – just in case!? Expect to pay for your pumpkin based on size, anywhere from $3 and up.

7 Acrewood (Conroe) Golf, petting zoo, zip line, and more!

Berryland (Winnie) – Closed for 2023

Blessington Farms (Simonton) – Fridays and Weekends September 17th through November 20th. Pumpkin Patch, Animals, Hay Rides, Slides, Trains, and more. Over 24 months $18-$24.

Dewberry Farms Fall Festival (Brookshire) – Sept. 24- November 13, weekends only. Corn Maze, Pumpkin patch, 40+ attractions. Ages 3+ $34.95 (+tax, discounts available for military, first responders, and seniors 55+). For more details about what to expect click HERE.

Froberg’s Farm Annual Corn Maze and Fall Festival (Alvin) – September 25 – November 6. Weekdays and Weekends from 9 am-5:30 pm, Friday & Saturday nights in October, 6-10 p.m. Corn maze, hayride, games, pumpkin patch – extra activities available by token purchase. Ages 3-64 $10+.

Haunted Drive (Cleveland) multiple Halloween haunt attraction offers a spine-chilling adventure, combining scares and excitement from the comfort of your car. Get ready for a frightful journey like no other!

Houston Zoo’s: Zoo Boo (Med Center) – Sept. 29-Oct. 31. Included with zoo admission.

Jollisant Family Farms (Plantersville) – No pumpkin picking for 2023.

Kemah’s Boo on the Boardwalk – Every weekend in October, trick or treating, fun house, and Halloween events are at the Boardwalk.

Oil Ranch Pumpkin Patch Houston & Scarecrow Festival (Hockley) – Fridays through Sundays, Oct. 1 – 30. Hayride, scarecrows, regular ranch activities. Average price $11-$22, 2 and under free.

Old McDonald’s Farm & Pumpkin Patch (Humble) – Open daily 10 am. Regular activities (petting zoo, train ride, playground, fort, etc.) plus a pumpkin patch in October. 18 months and younger Free, $16+ per person.

Old Time Christmas Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch (North Houston) – The pumpkin patch is available all weekends in October. Then, Christmas season starts on November 19th and runs through December 11th. Train, hayride, petting zoo, slides, etc. Admission for ages 2+, $10 – tickets available for individual attractions.

P-6 Farms’ Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze (Montgomery) – Saturdays and Sunday, October 1 through November 6, 10 am – 7 pm. Pumpkin patch, Corn Maze, Farm Animals, Games & Activities. General admission $17.95+ for ages 3 & up and includes most attractions (online advanced purchase only).

Splashway Campgrounds Halloweekends – A 5-week event filled with fall and Halloween themed activities the whole family will enjoy! Plus, in September are two weekends of Fall Festivals.

Texas Renaissance Festival (Todd Mission) – Oct. 8 – Nov. 27, Saturdays, Sundays, and Thanksgiving Friday. Each weekend is a different theme, shows and artists, rides & games, camping (extra fee). General adult admission $20+, Children 12 and under $10+ (Children 12 and under are free on Sundays, 4 and younger are always free).

The Jersey Barnyard (LaGrange) – last week of September through October. Pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting (every Saturday 10am – noon with the purchase of a pumpkin), and farm.

Tomball Corn Maze (Tomball) – Cancelled indefinitely

Wood Duck Farms (Cleveland) – Farm Fall Fling on October 30th, 10am-5pm, and October 31st, 10am-4pm. Pumpkin patch, tractor pulled trailer rides, jump pad, slides, etc. $5 + pumpkins (ages 2 and under and 65 and older are free).

Pumpkin Patches

There are so many pumpkin patches and many are run by churches – some churches have a little more than a patch, like fall festivals or hay rides, and we have tried to indicate that in the descriptions below.

Churches tend to announce their events later so check back for updates. If you see TBA then they have offered an event in the previous year but have not broadcast their current dates and times.
