Have you scoped out your pumpkin patch yet?! It’s that time of year!
Finding a patch or maze or somewhere to get some adorable orange-inspired photo ops shouldn’t be too hard, but here’s a helping hand just in case!? Expect to pay for your pumpkin based on size, anywhere from $3 and up.

Fall Pumpkins! Festivals and Events
SEPTEMBER – NOVEMBER, Weekends & Ongoing
Berryland Farms of Texas (Winnie) – Saturdays & Sundays October 12 -November 3rd. Field trips can be reserved throughout the week. $5-$6 general admissions, 2 & under Free. (senior and military discounts available). Most activities included but tickets required for extra attractions like pony rides and pumpkin chunker. No Corn maze this year due to Covid-19 delays.
Blessington Farms (Simonton) – Fridays and Weekends September through November 21st. Pumpkin Patch, Animals, Hay Rides, Slides, Trains, and more. Over 24 months $15-$20.
Dewberry Farms Fall Festival (Brookshire) – Sept. 28- November 15, weekends only. Corn Maze, Pumpkin patch, 40+ attractions. Ages 3+ $18-$29.95 (+tax, discounts available for military, first responders, and seniors 55+). For more details about what to expect click HERE.
Froberg’s Farm Annual Corn Maze and Fall Festival (Alvin) – Oct. 3 – Nov. 1. Weekdays and Weekends from 9 am-5:30 pm, Friday & Saturday nights in October, 6-10 p.m. Corn maze, hayride, games, pumpkin patch – extra activities available by token purchase. Ages 3-64 $10, Senior and Military/ First Responder $8, ages 2 & under free.
Houston Zoo’s: Zoo Boo (Med Center) – Oct. 2 – November 1. Included with zoo admission.
Oil Ranch Pumpkin Patch Houston & Scarecrow Festival (Hockley) – Fridays through Sundays, Oct. 2 – November 1. Hayride, scarecrows, regular ranch activities. $11.48-$22.95, 2 and under free.
Old McDonald’s Farm & Pumpkin Patch (Humble) – Open daily 10 am. Regular activities (petting zoo, train ride, playground, fort, etc.) plus a pumpkin patch in October. 18 months and younger Free, $12 per person.
Old Time Christmas Tree Farm (North Houston) – Christmas season starts the last two weekends in November, opening on November 23rd. Train, hayride, petting zoo, slides, etc. Admission for ages 2+, $7 – tickets available for individual attractions.
P-6 Farms’ Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze (Montgomery) – Saturdays and Sunday, September 26 through November 8, 10 am – 6 pm. Pumpkin patch, Corn Maze, Farm Animals, Games & Activities. General admission $19.95 for ages 3 & up and includes most attractions.
Pumpkin Patch at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm (North Houston) – Weekends in October. Train, hayride, petting zoo, slides, etc. Admission for ages 2+, $7 – tickets available for individual attractions.
Splashway Campgrounds Halloweekends – A 6-week event filled with fall and Halloween themed activities the whole family will enjoy!
Texas Renaissance Festival (Todd Mission) – Oct. 3 – Nov. 29, Saturdays, Sundays, and Thanksgiving Friday. Each weekend is a different theme, shows and artists, rides & games, camping (extra fee). General adult admission $24-$30, Children 12 and under $12-$15 (Children 12 and under are free on Sundays, 4 and younger are always free), Military, First Responders, Students, and Seniors 62 & older – no gate sales.
Tomball Corn Maze (Tomball) – Weekends Oct. 3 – Nov. 1; Ages 6 & up are $12, 2-5 are $6, & under 2 are free. Several Special Events & Themed weekends like movie nights, fright night, classic cars, and more.
Wood Duck Farms (Cleveland) – Weekends Oct. 6th – Nov. 4th; Pick out a pumpkin, help feed the dairy calves or enjoy some of the other activities! Ages 3 & up $10.95.
Pumpkin Patches & Church Events
There are so many pumpkin patches and many are run by churches – some churches have a little more than a patch and we have tried to indicate that in the descriptions below. On the map above they are the ones with the pumpkin icons!
Churches tend to announce their events later so check back for updates. If you see TBA then they have offered an event in the previous year.
Aggie Habitat/ Faith in Action Pumpkin Patch (College Station) – Funding Habitat for Humanity BCS, Patch open September 30 – October 31, daily.
Baker Road Baptist Church Pumpkin Festival (San Jacinto Mall) – TBA
Bear Creek UMC (Katy) – Trunk or Treat, Oct. 26, 2019, 4-6 p.m.
Clear Lake UMC – Patch open daily Oct. 12-31, 2019, Fall Festival Oct. 19, 2019, 10 am to noon; Movie Night in the Patch Oct. 18, 2019 at 7 p.m. (It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown); and Trunk-or-Treat Oct. 31, 2019, 6-7:30 p.m.
Crossbridge Christian Church (NW Houston) – TBA.
Cypress UMC – Patch open daily from October 4th – November 7th; Movie in the Patch on October 11th, Pumpkin Fest October 27th at 5 p.m.
Deer Park United Methodist Church – Fall Fest, Oct. 19, 2019, at 10 am-3 pm, Pumpkin Patch TBA (but delivery is on Oct. 5, 2019)
Grace Episcopal Church (Alvin) – Children’s Carnival Oct. 19, 2019, & Pumpkin Patch open daily from Oct. 12, 2019.
Grace Presbyterian Church (The Woodlands) – Fall Festival Oct. 13, 4-7:30 p.m. Free community event – food, fellowship, and fun.
Grace United Methodist Church (Houston Heights) Pumpkins patch open daily through October.
Jollisant Farms (Plantersville) – Pick your own pumpkins! Call or check FB for current conditions.
Holy Cross Episcopal Church (Sugar Land) – Patch opens weekends Oct. 11-31, 2019. Saturdays and Sundays full activities like hayrides, maze, face painting, and food.
Lakewood United Methodist Church (NW Houston) Patch will be open Oct. 11-31, daily; Fallelujah & Trick or Treat on Oct.19, and Fall Market on Oct. 12, 2019.
