The Festival of Colors is a free-spirited play between friends, family and community with colored powder, welcoming the brightness and happiness of Spring. Houston Holi Festival is an outdoor festival with Live Bollywood Concert, all day color play, Bollywood & Indian Folk Dance Performances, Free Carnival Rides and Holi Pragitya (Bonfire Lighting Display). Enjoy Pichkaris (water guns), Music, Dancing, Comedy by the Crazy Masala Crew, Maha Aarti (ceremonial prayers for world peace), Foam Party, Hundreds of Sponsored Giveaways, Kids Rides, Photo Booths, Parade of Rikshaws, and Street Food Vendors. Tickets are very nominal, attracting a large number of not only South Asian families, but the ever increasing mainstream audience from Houston and surrounding areas. Get ready for one of the largest celebrations of HOLI in the nation – HOUSTON HOLI – Halo Re Halo!
