Each fall since 1981, the Martyn Farm at Armand Bayou Nature Center has given visitors the opportunity to step back in time at the annual Harvest Festival. Harvest traditions may be rooted in survival, but hard work, respect, and compassion are the values that keep those traditions alive from generation to generation.
Our farm will come alive with activities and live demos that highlight how typical farmers lived around the turn of the century. It was hard work, but it was also a time for families and communities to have fun. Enjoy live music, food, games, wagon rides and more!
