Magical Winter Lights is held from late November through early January at Katy Mills Mall (extended hours December 24 – January 1st). 

Magical Winter Lights is an annual larger-than-life 47-day lantern festival; a 20199 winner of ABC network’s Great Christmas Light Fight heavyweight division. MWL exhibits a multicultural take on traditional Chinese lanterns, with a full-sized carnival, a new thrilling circus installation, and fantastic food vendors! Visitors can also expect the iconic Magical Winter Lights castle and dinosaur exhibit, nightly character meet-and-greets, food, games, music, and more!  Last year our attendance reached over 250,000 families coming from all over Texas, and we look forward to what this year has in store for our returning and new MWL attendees.
