Homeschool Day at the Pleasure Pier DETAILS

Homeschooled students are invited to join the Pleasure Pier for a day of educational thrills!
- Homeschool Check in: 10am-4pm
- Educational Tours: 12pm-3pm (This is optional, you may sign up for one of our tours upon check in)
- Hours of Operation: 10am-10pm
Your wristbands will be valid all day, your group is welcome to exit and reenter the Pier as long as everyone still has their wristband on. We have parking available across the street at FishTales restaurant for $10, or parking along Seawall Blvd for $2/hr.
We will have a History and STEM tour. The history tour covers the background of the Pleasure Pier as well as the Amusement industry. Our STEM tour will cover math and science applications that can be applied to find the speed of a ride, calculate how many rotations a ride can perform, budgeting dollar amount when planning to purchase snack and drinks at the concession stand and etc. We will also provide a take home workbook based on grade level for the STEM portion.
The Educational Tours will take place on the top of the hour between 12pm-3pm (this is optional). These are for all grade levels beginning from 3rd grade and above.
