Get to know the Nature Discovery Center’s Animal Ambassadors with up close and personal animal encounters! Each family-friendly Meet the Animals session includes hands on exposure to live animals and specimens like bones and skins, an informational and interactive talk about basic biology and behavior of the animals, and a question and answer period with one of our Staff Naturalists. In September you’ll be meeting our reptiles in a program called Reptile Rendezvous. Snakes, lizards, and turtles will be the stars of the show!
Meet the Animals is a program intended for kids AND their adult caregivers and is not a drop off program. Advanced registration is required.
