Sand Sculpture Showdown

Join us for an extraordinary display of creativity and craftsmanship at the Sand Sculpting Showdown held at East Beach from 9AM to 6PM on July 1 and 2. We invite you to witness the awe-inspiring talent of three master sand sculpture artists as they compete for bragging rights.

Fourth of July Parade

This Fourth of July, Galveston will feature its annual Independence Day parade featuring an array of floats, decorated vehicles and performers.

Fireworks Over The Gulf

You won’t want to miss this stunning display of pyrotechnics as we light up the night sky in celebration of America’s Independence Day. The show will take place on the beach, with the beautiful Gulf of Mexico serving as the backdrop.
