An Unforgettable Summer
at Camp Olympia!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before You Arrive

Before you register, Camp Olympia has several opportunities for families to see the camp and make sure your camper is ready. First, you can schedule a tour through their website. These are available year round. However, a more exciting an interactive experience is to attend the Open House Carnival on March 25th. This is a great opportunity to meet the staff, tour the facility, and participate in some of the 45+ summer camp activities!

Staff & Safety

Camp Olympia takes every opportunity to ensure a safe and professional camp. They maintain accreditation with ACA, American Camping Association, which set nationwide camp standards. Further, a year round staff ensures quality directors and recruitment of counselors, who are committed to training and camping the Olympia way.

At Camp

The facilities include heated and air-conditioned cabins. Each has a beautiful view of Lake Livingston. In addition, cabins are in clusters, with girl’s and boy’s cabin clusters kept separately.

Around campus you can find sports courts/ fields, an archery range, pool, boat dock, campfire, horse corral, mini-golf, challenge course, fishing spot, and more!

The Chow Hall will do all the cooking and cleaning! There is an on-site chef and staff that offer well-balanced, nutrionist-approved meals with several options. Special dietary restrictions can likely be accommodated.

Programs & Activities

Camp Olympia fosters tradition and team building by opening camp each day with a Sparta vs. Athenian challenge. After which, campers will have a fun-fill day rotating between the activities they choose. And Camp-O has more than 45 amazing choices!

This summer camp has so many options for all kinds of interests. You will see standard summer camp fare like swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and archery. Too, there are activities for the thrill-seekers like rocketing, wakeboarding, a challenge course, and a giant swing. Plus, there are some specialized options like riflery, horseback riding, sailing, puppies in training (the camp adopts three puppies each summer that campers get to learn with), drama, cheerleading, video production, woodworking, and photojournalism. No matter what their interests campers will be busy!

Moreover, just when you think the day is done, there are nightly programs unique to the different terms throughout summer. These programs are designed with campers in mind – some are for specific ages, some just for boys or girls, and some are all-camp events!
