From the organizer:
The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) conference is hosting it Wiz Kidz STEM outreach program on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the George R Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. The event will focus on encouraging young students between the ages of 10-17 to pursue STEM. A parent/chaperone will have to accompany them.
We will be hosting free tours of our conference exhibit hall filled with linear accelerators and talks with a diverse panel of physicists to inspire them to pursue STEM and medical careers. Snacks and gifts will be provided to students.
