Celebrating Black History Month & Lunar New Year funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.

Take part in a cultural journey with us at the Museum as we honor the contributions of Black historical figures, and pay tribute to the Asian Lunar New Year. This will be an unforgettable Free Family Night!

Joy of Djembe Drumming – 6pm (Kid’s Hall Alcove)

Enjoy sounds from the Motherland as you learn about different drumming styles in this interactive performance in honor of Black History Month.

Dance of Asian America – 7pm (Kid’s Hall Alcove)

Enjoy these traditional dances in honor of Lunar New Year.
