The Woodlands Township invites families and friends to enjoy seasonal ice skating in the 21,000-square-foot permanent multipurpose facility, located near the intersection of Lake Robbins Drive and Six Pines Drive.
The facility features ice skating in the main room with lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, and tables for parties and concessions.
The Ice Rink operates on a seasonal basis with special holiday hours for school holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Helmet and walker rental available onsite for additional fee:
- Helmet rental – $10.00 plus tax.
- Walker rental – $10.00 plus tax.
- Table rentals available ($25 plus tax).

- Monday through Thursday: 3 to 9 p.m.
- Friday: 3 to 11 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon to 6 p.m.

- Christmas Eve: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cookies & Cocoa with Santa & Friends
Start your holiday mornings with a touch of magic at our Cookies & Cocoa with Santa & Friends event! Join Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their merry crew for a cozy morning filled with warm cocoa, delicious cookies, and of course time on the ice! This special event is a wonderful opportunity for kids to meet Santa and enjoy a festive start to the day. With the enchanting backdrop of The Ice Rink, this event is perfect for making holiday memories that will last a lifetime. Be sure to register early, as spots fill up fast!

Fee includes admission and skate rental. A ticket purchase is REQUIRED to participate in the program’s amenities. Spectators without a ticket will not be permitted to take part or visit with Santa and friends.
Icing & Ice Skates – NEW
Get ready for a morning of holiday cheer with our Icing and Ice Skates event! This delightful experience combines two favorite winter activities: decorating your very own gingerbread house and enjoying a fun session of ice skating. Kids will have a blast creating their gingerbread masterpieces with icing, candies, and toppings before hitting the ice for some festive fun. Surrounded by holiday music and maybe even a little snowfall, this event is perfect for families looking to make sweet holiday memories. Spaces are limited, so be sure to register in advance!

Fee includes admission and skate rental. One (1) Gingerbread House kit will be provided PER BOOKING (not per ticket). Multiple bookings may be necessary for larger groups or families.
Sensory-Friendly Skate Sessions
Experience the joy of ice skating in a calm and supportive environment with our Sensory Friendly Ice Skating Sessions at The Woodlands Ice Rink. These sessions are designed for individuals who benefit from reduced noise, smaller crowds, and a more relaxed atmosphere. With adjusted lighting and sound levels, skaters of all ages can enjoy a comfortable and inclusive experience. Join us for a session that prioritizes fun and accessibility for everyone.
