Slide into those lederhosen and lace up your dirndl dress, we are throwing down German style at the brewery. Join us for an all-day, FREE event filled with food & dance, commemorative stein sales and activities for the whole family.
Around the Corner German Food Truck & The Shepherd Mix Food Bar on-site selling traditional German food.
*NEW* Galveston Island Brewing ceramic steins will be on sale at the event!
Are you the island’s PRETZEL EATING CHAMP? Competition starts at 12:30pm. Free to enter. VERY limited spaces. Winner gets a GIB stein and brewery gift card.
Women’s & Men’s Masskrugstemmen (stein holding) contest starts at 4PM. Use your own glass 1L stein or borrow one of ours. Limited amount of loaners available. Winner gets a GIB stein and brewery gift card.
Kid’s area with inflatable obstacle course and inflatable for kids 4 and under.
Music and dance from Auf Geht’s 1-4PM & Homebrewed Brass Ensemble 5-8PM.
Dress in your best Oktoberfest! Judges will be crowning the King and Queen of Oktoberfest in between band sets.
