From the organizer:

Join the City of Nassau Bay as we celebrate Independence Day with fun-filled activities throughout the day!

A parade honoring Nassau Bay’s veterans will begin at 6PM. You do not need to register to participate in the parade just please meet in the Gloria Dei Church parking lot to line up at 5:00 pm. Bring some water because it will be hot! There will be awards for “Lil Firecracker” (kids only) “Most Patriotic”, “Oldest Veteran”, “Wagons and Wheels” (bikes and wagons) and Grand Champion. If you are a veteran and would like to be in the parade please RSVP for your spot by contacting Jill & Doug Abel by Wednesday, June 21, either by email at douglasdabel@mac.com, or by phone at 713-208-1759.

Finally, at 9PM the celebration will end with a bang as we watch an incredible fireworks show over the lake! We look forward to celebrating with our community once again!
