Get to know the Nature Discovery Center’s Ambassador Animals with up close and personal animal encounters! Each family-friendly Meet the Animals program includes hands-on exposure to live animals and specimens like bones and skins, an interactive talk about the biology and behavior of the animals, and a question and answer period with one of our Staff Naturalists. In November we’ll be visiting with Marvelous Mammals including Clover, a Dutch Rabbit, Blossom, our Virginia Opossum, Henry, a Lesser Hedgehog Tenrec, and one of our Guinnea Pigs.
Meet the Animals is a program intended for kids AND their adult caregivers and is not a drop off program. Advanced registration is required.
