From the Earth Day at The Woodlands Children’s Museum organizer:

Two fun days of Earth Day Acitivities!

Shadow Puppet Theatre Thursday, April 18th at 11am presents “Earth Day, Birthday!” by Maureen Wright. April 22 rolls around, and Monkey’s friends insist on celebrating Earth Day; but Monkey tries to convince them it’s his birthday!

Shadow Puppet Theatre is an introduction to storytelling elements that allow our readers and audience to interact directly with each other, children of all ages are enchanted with the animated shadows.

Storybook Theatre at 11am Friday, April 19th presents ” Fletcher and the Springtime Blossoms” by Julia Rawlinson.  Fletcher, a sweet little fox, soaks up the sunny weather and warmth of the new season. However, he comes across snowy flakes floating down from the sky and lets all his friends know that winter is back…or is it? Before today’s story, Miss Jan will share a poem in honor of Earth Day (Monday, April 22) and National Poetry Month —“Behold,” Mary Kawena Pukui from The Barefoot Book of Earth Poems compiled by Judith Nicholls.

Hours: Tues-Thurs 10am-2pm. Fri. 10am-4pm. Sat. 10am-5pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Each event included in the price of admission.
