Immerse yourself in the rich history of Asian culture as we usher in the Year of the Dragon at the 2024 Lunar New Year Festival hosted at the Chinese Community Center! Come to our showcase dance performances including the traditional mesmerizing lion and dragon dance, indulge your taste buds in Asian street food delights, and experience the fun of cultural activities, games, and crafts. Join us for an unforgettable celebration that brings together community in a fusion of tradition and festivity!
An annual tradition in Houston’s Asiatown since 2003, the festival celebrates both the Lunar New Year and the beauty of Houston’s vast cultural diversity. This year, the Festival will also kick off a series of exciting Asian Heritage seasonal programs that will highlight the culinary delights, artistic wonders, and ancient traditions of Asian cultures.

Our event does bring in high-volume traffic, we highly recommend carpooling to this event or Ubering to convenient drop-off points to walk to the event. However, we have free parking across and adjacent to the event site, at the following locations:
