Join us on Tuesday, July 4th, at Washington-on-the-Brazos! We have a lot of fun 4th of July activities planned for the day at all 3 of our sites. At 11am, 1pm, and 3pm we will have readings of the American Declaration of Independence and musket salutes on the steps of Independence Hall. There will also be a period baseball game on the Washington Townsite. At Barrington Plantation, period games and a picnic will be held. Bring your own picnic and enjoy the games! Finally, at the Star of the Republic Museum, you can craft a model rocket that you can take home with you! Come enjoy our day of fun and celebrate Independence Day!
