What do courtship, sexual warfare, nuptial gifts, and parthenogenesis have in common? Join HMNS Sugar Land as we explore the art of finding a mate in the insect world this Valentine’s Day! This unique experience includes a three course meal with wine service, time in the permanent exhibit halls, and an after-dinner talk with museum entomologist Lauren Davidson, Cockrell Butterfly Center Manager. There’s an estimated 10 quintillion bugs on Earth, find out how they got here as Ms. Davidson shares often peculiar, but always riveting, stories of insect sex.
