African American Traditions from the Garden details

From the organizer:

Please join us for a fun, educational, and enlightening class celebrating Black History Month. We will share cultural traditions and the rich history of common fruits and vegetables that have been historically planted in African American gardens. We will look at past and current farmland and the many historic cuisines often served within the African American culture. As a special treat, we ask that you bring one of your favorite written recipes. We will have a special sampling.
