Mark your calendar!  Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center – A Very Special Project of Children’s Museum Houston, will host Sensory FriendlyDays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on select dates.

Sensory Friendly Day is an exclusive event in which doors are closed to the general public. This day bursts with valuable Autism resources and interactive activities, provides a comfortable, protected and accepting environment, and gives parents opportunities to make connections with other families and the Autism community.  Special care is taken to provide a comfortable experience, including playing no music and providing sound-reducing headphones. Families may bring their own food during this time.

This exclusive event includes the following modifications:

  • Less crowded environment
  • Light and sound reduction
  • Extra visual safety signage
  • Designated quiet room

pre-registration is required.  To register, please contact Lydia Dungus at ldungus@cmhouston.org or (713) 535-7238.
