A Closer Look at History: State Symbols

REGISTRATION OPENS SEPTEMBER 1. All are welcome to this program designed especially for school-aged children. Each class includes a 30-minute presentation followed by an activity. Registration is required, and space is limited. This month, we are talking about Texas state symbols. Participants will learn all about the history and significance of some of Texas’ most loved and recognizable state symbols. Following this indoor presentation, participants will have the opportunity to plant Texas bluebonnet seeds in the park. Seeds will be provided to interested participants, and we will take a short hike to the planting site. For questions, email klebwoods@hcp4.net or call 281-357-5324.

Don’t forget to scope out some of the ongoing weekly events for Toddlers & Preschoolers as well as our extensive list for Homeschoolers.
