The French Cultural Service in Houston presents its annual French Cultures Festival kick-off event, coinciding this year with the Olympic Games in Paris. Come and enjoy a free family-friendly event featuring an open-air movie screening of 2018 French comedy film “Sink or Swim” (Le Grand Bain) directed by Gilles Lellouche (in French with English subtitles), and put on your soccer shoes to participate in a friendly competition organized in partnership with Paris Saint-Germain Academy, open to all ages from 4 to 99+ years old (make sure to secure your spot by registering in advance.) French and Congolese novelist, journalist, poet, and academic Alain Mabanckou will be in attendance for a special Q&A session about Francophonie. Free and open to all!
