The American Red Cross visits Children’s Museum Houston! During this special event, join Pedro the Penguin (PreK – 2nd grade) or the Pillowcase Project (3rd – 5th grade) to learn how to be prepared and take action during an emergency!
Pedro the Penguin Demonstration
Join Pedro the Red Cross penguin and his friends as they put on a 30–45 min preparedness program for students. You will learn how to be prepared and take action during an emergency.
Grades: Prek-2nd Grade Times: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Pillowcase Project
A 40–60 min presentation that covers local hazards, coping skills and personal and family preparedness through a “Learn, Practice, Share” framework.
Grades: 3rd – 5th Times: 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
