With more than two decades of language teaching experience Language World Kids are masters at teaching languages to children in innovative and fun ways.
What does camp look like? Every week campers get to experience a different thematic unit specifically tailored for each age group. Also, camps make use of play-based engagement. Immersion camps will provide an unforgettable language-learning experience for your child!
Camps are divided into two age groups to best curate curriculum to their specific learning styles. The youngest campers join the Linguist Apprentices and are ages 3-5. Older campers are Language Ambassadors. The latter group is for 6-10 year olds.
Moreover, there is a camp for every need, both in-person (Sign Language, French, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and English) and virtual options are available. Similarly, Language Kids World Camps support the entire city of Houston by providing camps in multiple locations including Museum District, Bellaire, The Heights, Galleria, Memorial, Meyerland, Montrose, Sugar Land, and Energy Corridor.
Language Kids World Camps get kids out of the house and off the screens. Kids will not be bored. Direct instruction will naturally lead to interactive games, hands-on activities, lots of play, and plenty of arts and crafts that will reinforce vocabulary and language structures. There will be plenty of time to run and play and get all the wiggles out! However, one of the most meaningful learning tools is the opportunity for kids to be immersed in language in an authentic and natural manner. Teachers are skilled at guiding campers to make meaningful connections in the language they are learning.
