Cistern Illuminated is a unique winter lighting experience in the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. This special installation provides a new perspective on this cavernous underground space, amplifying the Cistern’s 221 columns and seemingly-infinite reflection. Whether you want to escape the holiday rush on a date night or entertain out-of-town visitors, Cistern Illuminated offers a magical underground experience for all. Get your tickets today!

On view: 11/25/23 – 1/7/24 Tours run every hour on the hour, Wednesday – Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Children ages 9+ only are allowed in the Cistern.
