Bears have been a part of human history, mythology and culture for thousands of years. Yet, many people do not know that bears were once common in the forested areas of Harris County. Even today, as rare as it may be, black bears are still occasionally sighted in our area. Join Martin de Vore in the nature center to learn all about bears. Program is great for community members of all ages. Meet in the nature center.
