TAAF Summer Games DETAILS

During July 27–30, 2023, Brownsville will host the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) 2023 Summer Games of Texas. Amateur, recreational, and athletes will compete in 12 sports featured at various venues throughout the city in this multi-sport arena. The games are estimated to attract over 8,000 athletes! We invite athletes to get in the games and compete for the top spot against their peers to Light the Fuse and Go Beyond! 

The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation is a nonprofit organization established in 1925 to promote, organize and conduct amateur athletics in the state of Texas.

This is part of a series of amateur Olympic-style events organized by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) for athletes of all ages held in Texas during the summer and winter each year. Medalists from these games qualify to participate in the State Games of America. These games are part of the National Congress of State Games.
