Kid Stacks

It is imperative that kiddos have a nightstand.  Where else would they put their stack of books?

As we gear up for our Israel trip the nightstand is loaded pretty heavily with Bible stories (kids books are a good way for mommies and daddies to brush up on their religion, too!).  These are the ones we’re working through from our most recent trip to the library:

  • At the Break of Day, by Nikki Grimes
  • A baby born in Bethlehem, by Martha Whitmore Hickman
  • Bible Lands, by Jonathan N. Tubb
  • The Creation Story, illustrated by Norman Messenger
  • David and Goliath, by Leonard Everett Fisher
  • The Deep Blue Sea, by Bijou Le Tord
  • The Lord’s Prayer, by Tim Ladwig
  • The Nativity, by Laurie Lazzaro Knowlton
  • The Story of Job, by Beverly Brodsky
  • The Story of Noah and the Ark, by Michael McCarthy
  • The Wailing Wall, by Leonard Everett Fisher
  • Brain Freeze!, by J.E. Bright (Don’t judge, I think Batman goes to church)
