Mud Day Celebration at NDC
Nature Discovery Center 7112 Newcastle, BellaireFrom the organizer: Come prepared for a marvelously muddy good time as we celebrate International Mud Day in our Nature Play Area. Whether you wallow in the mud, stomp in it, paint with it, build with it, or simply make mud pies, you’re sure to have a great time. This is a FREE program for children accompanied by adult caregivers. This is not a drop-off event. Wear old clothes and bring a beach towel. You can hose down after the fun!

Buffalo Bayou Twilight Boat Tours
Allen's Landing 1001 Commerce St., HoustonFrom the organizer: Note that boat tours depart promptly each half-hour. The last tour departs at 8 pm. These 30-minute boat rides are a great way to spend the evening with your family. Escape from the city and enjoy the cool breeze as you glide along Buffalo Bayou's waters. Look for graceful herons, jumping fish, and even an occasional alligator on the banks. Weather permitting. Reservations Required. *Ages 4 and under not permitted on the pontoon boat.
