Join Houston Symphony’s Principal Harpist Megan Conely and friends as they use music to inspire children to learn about the natural world around them. After the concert, we will go pond dipping in search of aquatic creatures, study plants that survive in wetland habitats, and participate in water conservation demonstrations. When you see it, you’ll find engaging activities, coloring sheets, and colored pencils. The knowledgeable staff members can answer questions about the works of art on view. Storybook Circles at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. connect the art in the galleries with fun and exciting stories. Masks are recommended. Free materials are provided to use in the galleries and at home.
