Enjoy the great outdoors while reading through an educational, interactive children's book. StoryWalk® is an ~.5 mile hike on gravel and boardwalk trails. Music in the Gardens at Mercer Botanic Gardens
Mercer Botanic Gardens HumbleChildren and parents can experience rhythm and music principles throughout the gardens. Classes use Kindermusik’s curriculum, songs, instruments, and movement to inspire creativity, confidence, and music appreciation in children. Recommended for children 2-5. This free, family-friendly event is outdoors, so participants should dress for the weather. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring your own water bottle. Meet at Mercer’s East Side Main Garden. Registration is required as space is limited. Registration begins at 9 a.m. on the first Friday of the month prior to the event. Online registration closes 48 hours prior to the event. All equipment is provided, including canoes, paddles, and personal flotation devices. You are encouraged to bring your own US Coast Guard-approved PFD. Each child (10 and under) in a canoe must be accompanied by a paddling adult. One adult per child (10 and under) required to canoe. Each boat must have one adult in order to paddle.
