Craft Community Day DETAILS

From the organizer:

Join HCCC for this free spring event featuring local artist guilds and community groups. Visitors of all ages are invited to see craft demonstrations, visit the resident artists’ studios, and view the spring exhibitions.

-Watch craft demonstrations by a variety of Houston-area artist guilds and community groups

-See the exhibitions on view: “THIS SIDE UP” and “Fiber in 3D”

-Visit the resident artists’ studios

-Enjoy food and refreshments from Moon Rooster food truck

Past participating artist guilds have included: -ClayHouston -Contemporary Handweavers of Houston -Gulf Coast Woodturners -Houston Bead Society -Houston Metal Arts Guild -Machine Knitting Club -Polymer Clay Guild -The Printers Guild -Quilt Guild of Greater Houston -Texas Association of Original Doll Artists -TXRX -Woodworkers Club of Houston -Community Cloth

Please note: The HCCC parking lot will be blocked off for demonstrations, but street parking is available nearby. Craft Community Day replaces Hands-On Houston in March. HOH will resume in April!
