Discover Houston's special relationship with Buffalo Bayou! Students will learn about the founding of Houston, the significance of the Ship Channel, and the environmental factors of the water. The Galveston Bay Foundation will give presentations at 10:00am and 11:00am in the Kids' Cove. During the program, students will learn about the history of nautical navigation by reliving the voyages that mapped the world and experimenting with the instruments that made them possible.
