The Night Before Christmas Gingerbread Village This holiday season, the Hotel Galvez is creating a special “The Night Before Christmas” themed gingerbread village. Gingerbread Polar Express In honor of THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride at the Galveston Railroad Museum, the hotel is creating a special “Polar Express” themed gingerbread house. 70th Annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade The Parade is located in downtown Houston and is FREE for all. For those who would like to purchase general seating, there is an opportunity to do so on this page that will post November 2019. The parade will feature 12 HIGH-FLYING BALLOONS and 13 FLOATS including the famous Tom Turkey and Santa Claus. Additionally, the parade will include eight performing groups and eight marching bands from across the state.
