Living History School Day & Civil War Weekend at Liendo Plantation Step back in time at Liendo Plantation for an up close and personal look at life during the period of the American Civil War.  Held annually the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving, Civil War Weekend provides an opportunity for immersion in 19th century American life.  See the Civilians of the day demonstrating their lifestyles and life skills or participate in one of many hands on activities. Vienna Boys Choir – Christmas in Vienna Boys have been singing at Vienna’s Imperial Chapel since 1296. Joseph Haydn, Michael Haydn and Franz Schubert were themselves choir boys. Today, there are 100 choristers between the ages of nine and fourteen, divided into four touring groups. The Choir’s repertoire includes everything from medieval to contemporary and experimental music. Motets and lieder for boys’ choirs form the core of the touring repertoire, as do the Choir’s own arrangements of quintessentially Viennese music like waltzes and polkas.
