Sunrise Yoga at Buffalo Bayou Flow into the weekend with Sunrise Yoga on Buffalo Bayou with a series of 45-minute early morning yoga sessions that will take place on the lawn at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. With a spectacular view of downtown, Houston’s most iconic green space is a unique and uplifting backdrop for yogis of all levels and ages. Bring your own mat. Reusable water bottle encouraged. Goldilocks and the Three Bears Tapestry Players presents an adaptation by William Goldsmith of the popular fairy tale, in which Baby Bear and Goldilocks (now friends) have very different recollections of the details of that fateful day. A reenactment of the story ensues, with plenty of laughs and some important life lessons. The show runs under an hour and promises to be excellent exposure to theater for young audience members. Hocus Pocus Pops A spooky symphony soiree! The tradition that scares our stage, alarms our lawn and terrifies our tent returns! Everyone is gravely encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costume for a chance to walk on stage during the concert. The first 100 boys and “ghouls” to check in at Hocus Pocus Central in the North Plaza, fully costumed, get the chance to march in the Goblin Parade.
