Sunrise Yoga at Buffalo Bayou Flow into the weekend with Sunrise Yoga on Buffalo Bayou with a series of 45-minute early morning yoga sessions that will take place on the lawn at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. With a spectacular view of downtown, Houston’s most iconic green space is a unique and uplifting backdrop for yogis of all levels and ages. Bring your own mat. Reusable water bottle encouraged. During the program, students will learn about the history of nautical navigation by reliving the voyages that mapped the world and experimenting with the instruments that made them possible. They will become modern maritime navigators by creating a handmade compass and plotting a course on a nautical chart! Tips: The program is best for students 8-12 and recommended for those that have read the book or for those that simply like to go on
