9th Annual Journey Through China Join Houston’s Dance of Asian America for an interactive performance of authentic Chinese dance. Audiences will learn about the culture, traditions, and dances of the numerous ethnic groups found throughout China. This interactive performance involves audience members with dance props and dance movements. Dance of Asian America is a not-for-profit organization promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of China through authentic Chinese dance. In doing so, DAA sustains traditions, builds international ties, educates Houstonians in cross-cultural understanding, and fosters new generations of professional artists.
