Deer Lake Lodge, a local resort and health spa, will host a class with Mark “Merriwether” Vorderbruggen, an expert in wild edible plants, Saturday, June 30, 2018.

The class will be in conjunction with Deer Lake Lodge’s regular health and cleansing program. Guests will have the opportunity to spend four hours exploring Deer Lake Lodge’s 50-acre Oasis and learn about Texas’ edible wild plants and the basics of foraging, with Merriwether as their guide.
