Make a Jacko-lantern to light the way. Bring one miniature pumpkin per participant to carve into a lantern then use to light the way to the Homestead, where a delightfully spooky campfire story awaits you. Reservations required beginning Wed., Sept. 26.

Join staff and volunteers at the Akokisa Indian Village for a celebration of tribal culture. Observe demonstrations and learn about the native peoples that lived in Southeast Texas.

Geocaching is a GPSguided, family-friendly worldwide scavenger hunt, and Jones Park is ground zero for the day’s fun! Bring your GPS unit or GPS-enabled smart phone to learn about this outdoor game with several courses that users of all skill levels can play. Reservations required beginning Wed, Oct. 10.
TRICKS & TREATS AMONG THE TREES

Enjoy a free trick-or-treat nature trail along with fun fall activities including crafts, live creepy critters, games, hayrides, costume contest, a critter storybook trail, and more. Costumed trick-or-treaters are encouraged!
