Join us for Home School Day, February 19th from 10 am to 4 pm, Free. Explore the future of science and medicine in a fun-filled day of activities designed especially for young scientists and their parents. Through educational activities, dissection labs and exciting crafts, children, and teens can unleash their natural curiosity about innovation and what the future holds for the world of medicine. Parent-teachers will discover resources and tools to successfully educate the entire family.
Throughout the year, The Health Museum offers Dissect It Yourself and Wonders of the Human Body Labs available for grades Pre-K through 12th grade. DIY Labs allow students to dissect organisms while learning about their anatomy and functions with the guidance of an educator. The Human Body Labs are organized by body system. Each month consists of 4 classes devoted to one body system. These classes will include dissections, written activities, presentations, and engineering design projects. There is something for every type of learner!
