Superheroes never compromise safety! The Children’s Museum of Houston has joined forces with the Texas Medical Association’s (TMA) “Hard Hats for Little Heads” to gear you up for a Super Powered Summer.
Stop by to receive a free, brand-new bike helmet and learn how to make sure it fits properly. Giveaway is limited to the first 100 children to arrive during Free Family Night Thursday.
Then, discover the power within during “Super Powered Summer.” Get super charged in five new power zones and test the qualities of a hero in you. Rise up and defeat all that stands against summer fun!
“Hard Hats for Little Heads” bicycle helmet giveaway program was created to help reduce head injury among Texas children. A properly fitting helmet can prevent almost all head injuries — up to 85 percent — the most common cause of disability or death in a bicycle crash. Since 1994, TMA has given away more than 300,000 helmets to Texas children.
