Delve into the Fascinating Features of Our Celestial Companion, Witness the Moon’s Magnificent Mountains, Craters, and Lunar Maria, and Capture Stunning Images in an Unforgettable Two-Hour Experience
Join us for a captivating exploration of our celestial companion – the moon! During this event, we will delve into the fascinating features of the moon, including its mountains, lunar maria, and craters within craters. If we’re lucky, we might even catch a glimpse of the elusive X formation. Discover the landing sites of the Apollo missions and capture stunning images with your own cell phone.
This two-hour experience begins with an engaging lecture presentation on the moon’s formations. You’ll have the unique opportunity to touch a piece of lunar rock, connecting you directly to our lunar neighbor. Afterwards, we will head upstairs to our state-of-the-art 36″ Gueymard Telescope, where you can observe these magnificent lunar objects up close and personal.
Don’t miss out on this extraordinary event that combines education, hands-on experiences, and the wonders of the moon. Join us as we unravel the mysteries and marvels of our closest celestial companion!
