Let’s build a gnome or fairy home for Spring. We will show how to build one in your yard using natural materials. We will also begin working on
one you can take home.

of each month for updates on the preserve, wildlife, and nature in our area.
PADDLE N PEDAL FEST – Saturday, April 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Spend the day exploring the outdoors during the first Paddle N Pedal Fest hosted by the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce

Join the Houston Audubon Society for a monthly bird count. Previous counts at Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve have identified more
than 35 species!
EARTH DAY CELEBRATION – Saturday, April 21, 9 a.m. – noon
Join us for trash removal at Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve and 100-Acre Wood Preserve to celebrate Earth Day. Shuttle transportation to offsite locations available.
3 p.m. – 4 p.m.: In preparation for the Houston City Nature Challenge, teens can learn how to use the iNaturalist app to join the challenge.
