25th Annual WaterWorks Festival

The City of Houston’s WaterWorks Education Center is pleased to announce the 25th Annual WaterWorks Festival scheduled for Friday, May 11, 2018 at Discovery Green in Downtown Houston.

The 25th WaterWorks Festival promotes water education, conservation, and sustainability while offering hands-on water activities to help the community understand the value of water and why it is so important to “protect the source”.

Downtown visitors and an estimated 2500 elementary and middle school greater area Houston students and their teachers will visit more than 50 exhibit booths, enjoy hands-on activities, and receive educational materials from local, county, state and regional water professionals and environmental specialists. Festival guests will learn how help protect our source waters from pollution, to practice water conservation, and to get involved in local water issues by getting to know their water.

In order to be at the forefront of water education, the WaterWorks Education Center has organized this festival for the past 25 years and maintains a multifaceted program. For more information please call (832) 395-3780 or email us at waterworks@houstontx.gov
