Houston we have Pumpkins
Have you scoped out your pumpkin patch yet?! I saw two churches unloading pumpkins yesterday! My kids are waffling and in deep discussions over costumes. It’s that time of year!
Finding a patch or maze or somewhere to get some adorable orange-inspired photo ops shouldn’t be too hard, but here’s a helping hand just in case! Expect to pay for your pumpkin based on size, anywhere from $3 and up.
Fall Pumpkins! Festivals and Events
7-Acre Wood (Conroe) – Thrill at the Mill and Vendor Market, Oct. 28, 10am-3pm. Free admission (purchase tickets for activities, concessions, and pumpkins).
Blessington Farms (Simonton) – Weekends September 23 through October 29 & Columbus Day. Pumpkin Patch, Animals, Hay Rides, Slides, Trains, and more. Over 18 months $18.49 +tax.
44th Annual British Festival – Nov. 4, 10am-4pm. $5 admission at the door. Traditional afternoon tea room, pub food, Highland bagpipers, dancers, magician, clown, face painting and much more.
Cornelius Nursery (Memorial) – Fall Fest, Oct. 7, 9am-7pm, Free.
Dewberry Farms (Brookshire) – Oct. 1 – November 12, weekends only. Corn Maze, Pumpkin patch, 40+ attractions. Ages 3+ $29.95 (+tax, discounts available for military, first responders, and seniors 55+)
Downtown Holiday Lamp Post Stroll (Tomball) – Nov. 17, 12-9PM; Free. 50 ornamental lamp posts in downtown Tomball are decorated for the holidays by local merchants and organizations.
Froberg’s Farm 5th Annual Corn Maze and Fall Festival (Alvin) – Sept. 30 – Nov. 5, 2017. Weekdays and Weekends from 9am-5pm, Friday & Saturday nights in October 6-10PM. Corn maze, hay ride, games, pumpkin patch. Ages 3 & Up $6.
HALTER INC’s Annual Pumpkin Patch (Katy) – Sensory friendly. Weekends in October. $5 per car, Children 2-16 $5, Adults free, tickets for activities extra.
HEB Thanksgiving Day Parade (Downtown) – 9AM, Free.
Houston Zoo’s: Zoo Boo (Med Center) – Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Oct. 13-29, 9am-4pm. Oct. 13 & 21 Halloween Zoovie Nights 5-9pm. Pumpkin Patch. Included with zoo admission.
Katy Rice Harvest Festival – Oct. 14 & 15, $10/ adult, children 10 & under, Seniors, Military, Law Enforcement and First Responders Free
Martyn Farm Harvest Festival (Pasadena) – Nov. 11-12, 2017, 10am-4pm; $12/adults, $8/ children & seniors, $3 parking, free shuttle. Activities, crafts, demonstrations, and more.
Matt Family Orchard (Tomball) – Harvest Festival in October requires a 15 person minimum and a reservation. Individuals are welcome on Fridays and Saturdays for the pumpkin patch, farmer’s market, and picking Asian Persimmons.
Monster March (Brenham) – Oct. 28, 5pm-Midnight. Games, Trunk or Treat, Live Music, Costume Contest, etc.
Nature Discovery Center Pumpkin Patch Festival – October 21 & 22, 11AM – 4PM, Admission is Free, tickets are $0.50 each or a pumpkin pass is $21 worth of tickets for $20.
Needville Harvest Festival – Oct. 20-21, BBQ Cookoff, Lawn Mower Racing, Corn Shucking Contest, car show, etc.
Oil Ranch Pumpkin Patch Houston & Scarecrow Festival (Hockley) – 7 days a week in October. Hay ride, scarecrows, regular ranch activities, Free pumpkin for every child with paid admission. $15.95-19.95, 2 and under free.
Old McDonald’s Farm & Pumpkin Patch (Humble) – Open daily 10am. Regular activities (petting zoo, train ride, playground, fort, etc.) plus a pumpkin patch in October. 18 months and younger Free, $10 per person.
P-6 Farms’ Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze (Montgomery) – Oct. 1 – November 12, weekends only. Pumpkin patch, Field of Screams, Corn Maze, Farm Animals, Games & Activities. General admission $12.95, Field of Screams (includes all general admission activities) $19.95.
Pumpkin Patch at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm (North Houston) – Weekends in October. Train, hayride, petting zoo, slides, etc. Ages 2+ $5
Rosehill Community Fall Festival – Free, Oct. 21st, 11am – 4pm; Food plates for sale; games, moonwalks, pumpkins, etc. all proceeds go to the Rosehill Fired Dept.

Texas Renaissance Festival (Todd Mission) – Oct. 5 – November 26, weekends only and Thanksgiving Day. Each weekend is a different theme, shows and artists, rides & games, camping (extra fee). School Days November 7 & 8, $9 admission. General adult admission $26.45-30, Children 12 and under $14.46-15 (Children 12 and under are free on Sundays, 4 and younger are always free), Military, First Responders, and Seniors 62 & older $20
