Family Adventures on the Bay Family Adventures on the Bay is designed to introduce the natural wonders of Galveston Bay as well as foster family togetherness. During this 2-hour family event, an environmental educator leads activities intended for participation from the entire family. Entertainment and public safety demonstrations are scheduled throughout the event and include: Law Enforcement K-9’s demonstrating their skills in detection and criminal apprehension. Firefighters demonstrating their equipment and offering fire safety tips. Representatives from Entergy showcasing the dangers of contact with power lines. Montgomery County Hospital District presenting a how-to demonstration of Hands-Only CPR.
